Recently, people’s deputies of Ukraine Natalia Korolevskaya and her husband Yuriy Solod, as well as Oleg Voloshin, wrote statements on the drafting of deputy mandates. On Friday, February 24, the Verkhovna Rada voted to terminate the powers of these elected representatives.
According to the People’s Deputy Yaroslav Zheleznyak, 325 MPs voted for depriving Yuri Solod of his mandate, 332 MPs for Natalia Korolevskaya, and 330 MPs for Oleg Voloshin.
According to Zheleznyak, the Verkhovna Rada has updated the record – now there are 405 people’s deputies in the parliament.
Recall that in January of this year, the parliament deprived people’s deputies from the Opposition Platform for Life (OPPL) of their mandates: Viktor Medvedchuk, Taras Kozak, Andriy Derkach and Rinat Kuzmin. They are no longer citizens of Ukraine.
