The Monetary Policy Council once again decided to leave interest rates unchanged. The main base rate is 6.75 percent.
The two-day meeting of the Monetary Policy Council (MPC) has ended. The Authority, as announced in the communiqué, has decided to leave NBP interest rates unchanged:

base rate 6.75% per annum;

Lombard rate 7.25% per annum;

deposit rate 6.25% per annum;
-
rediscount rate of 6.80% per annum;
-
the discount rate on the bill is 6.85% per annum.
MPC raised interest rates for the last time in September last year after a series of hikes that lasted almost a year.
Today’s decision to leave interest rates unchanged was expected by experts.
