Thus, the Poles joined last year’s winners Switzerland, runners-up Australia and the nine April qualifier winners Spain, Czech Republic, France, Canada, USA, Italy, Germany, Kazakhstan and Slovenia.

Playoffs and Billie Jean King Cup Draw

In turn, the countries that lost in the qualification, with the exception of Poland, i.e. Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Great Britain, Mexico, Romania, Slovakia and Ukraine will play in the playoffs scheduled for 10-11 or 11 November. 12.

These teams will be joined by seven teams from three regional competitions: Argentina and Colombia (from Americas Group I); Japan and Korea (Group I Asia/Oceania); and Hungary, the Netherlands and Sweden (from Group I Europe/Africa). Poland’s place in the play-offs will be taken by Serbia, which is the top scoring team not out of Group I Europe/Africa in 2023. The draw for the finals and playoffs will take place on Wednesday 24 May.
