Custard with saffron

  • Milk - half a liter

  • Egg yolks - 2 pcs.

  • Sugar - 200 g

  • Flour - 3 tablespoons

  • Butter -100 g

  • Saffron (to taste)

Boil milk with saffron

Grind the yolks with sugar, add flour and beat with a whisk or blender.

Add saffron milk and beat again

Place the mixture in a heavy bottomed saucepan and cook until thickened, stirring constantly.

The cream is ready - it remains only to add butter! You can fill the cakes with it and smear the cake when the cream has cooled.
