The semi-finals on the blue and yellow stage were opened by the children with a symbolic number, followed by a powerful performance by Yulia Sanina with The Hardkiss. From the stage, she emphasized why the contest is not held in Ukraine - because of the war that Russia started.
Outrageous, bright, multi-genre participants from 15 countries competed for a ticket to the final: Norway, Malta, Serbia, Latvia, Portugal, Ireland, Croatia, Switzerland, Israel, Moldova, Sweden, Azerbaijan, Czech Republic, the Netherlands and Finland. According to the results of voting by the national jury and the audience, representatives of ten countries reached the final.
