Jennifer Lopez can thank his mom for marrying Ben Affleck. After breaking off their engagement in 2004, the Hollywood sweethearts rekindled their romance in 2021 and tied the knot last summer. Mom Lopez, Guadalupe Rodriguezbelieves that this reunion is her merit.
“I knew that you would always be together because I prayed for 20 years,” Rodriguez said on the Today show.
Lopez, 53, playfully rolled her eyes when she heard her mom’s statement, but Kotb talked a lot about Affleck during her chat with Hoda. The singer and actress has two children with ex-husband Marc Anthony, while Affleck has three children with ex-wife Jennifer Garner.
“He’s a great, great father Lopez said. - And a father to the twins (Max and Emma, 15) because he has three beautiful children of his own and us. He really takes on the challenge of what it is and what it means. And they love him. They love him. And they appreciate it, just like me“.
While Lopez is working on her forthcoming album This Is Me…Now, which will be released this year and is partly inspired by her relationship with Affleck.
