The national volleyball season is just around the corner, so on the last Monday, May 8, the training camp of the Byalo-Chervony team began. Therefore, Nikola Grbic addressed his charges with a clear message.
At the end of April, Nikola Grbic sent out appointments to the wide squad of the Polish national team for the 2023 season. As usual, there were many surprises, but there was also a lot of talk about those who were absent. Some of the volleyball players selected by the breeder have already started preparing for the game in national colors, and the coach himself addressed his charges with a meaningful message.
Nikola Grbic will only work with some volleyball players for now
Training camp has traditionally been organized in Spala, although at the moment many great stars are missing because not all of them have completed club games. For example, players ZAKSA Kędzierzyn-Koźle or Jastrzębski will join the group much later because they are still in PlusLiga and the Champions League. The fight for third place between Asseco Resovia and Aluron CMC Warta Zawiercie is still undecided in the Polish competition.
As a result, only 16 out of 30 chosen ones of Grbic came to the training camp. This group includes: Sebastian Adamczyk, Mateusz Benek, Bartłomiej Bolondz, Karol Butrin, Jan Firlej, Michal Gerzot, Jakub Gavrilyuk, Karol Klos, Marcin Komenda, Grzegorz Lomacz, Mateusz Poręba, Mikołaj Sawicki, Artur Szałpuk, Jak Ub Szymanski, Kamil Szymura and Karol Urbanovich.
As you can see, many of the names that make up the strength of the Polish national team are missing here. On the other hand, for real volleyball players, this is a great opportunity to show themselves and convince the coach. It is understood that at the later stage of the season, most of the group of 30 players will drop out.

- Regardless of whether you stay here for a week, a month or until the final whistle of the last match of this season, I expect you to be purposeful, conscious work and strive for development, - Nikola Grbic addressed his players. In this way, he wanted to inspire them to fight for places in the white-reds, not only for a moment, but for the whole season.
