Ex-football player of Dynamo, Dnipro and Ukrainian national team Oleksandr Radchenko dies at 46

At the age of 47, the champion and winner of the Cup of Ukraine in the Kyiv “Dynamo” Oleksandr Radchenko passed away.

The sad news was confirmed by the official website of the white and blue, while the cause of death of the ex-football player was not reported.

Oleksandr Radchenko was born in 1976 in Zhdanov (now Mariupol), where he started his football career. In addition to Dynamo, he also played for his native Azovets (later Metallurg), Zakarpattya, Dnipro, Kryvbas and Volyn, having spent more than 300 matches at the club level in total.

In the period from 2002 to 2005, he played 17 matches as part of the Ukrainian national team, being a participant in the selection for the 2006 World Cup (3 games), as a result of which the Yellow-Blues took first place in the group and advanced to the final tournament of the World Cup. For participation in the success of the national team, he was awarded the medal “For Labor and Victory”.

After completing his professional career, he played for the amateur club “New Life” and the veterans of the futsal team “Interkas”, also coached children at the Dynamo Children’s Sports School named after Valery Lobanovsky.

Earlier reported that the famous Ukrainian football player Vyacheslav Semyonov, who won the medal of the Olympic Games, died.
