They say that nostalgia never dies and it really is true when it comes to an amazing team forever and always known as Power Rangers! What started over thirty years ago continues today! The recently released one-hour Netflix special, Power Morphin Power Rangers: Once and Forever, proved that the series has stood the test of time.

With much of the original cast returning for this special event, these characters are still loved and adored all these decades later. With the tragic passing of Tui Trang (the original Yellow Ranger) and, more recently, Jason David Frank (the original White and Green Rangers), this anniversary issue serves as the perfect way to honor their legacy in such a truly enduring franchise.

10 cyclopsis

Cyclopsis from Mighty Morphin Power Rangers

This truly epic foe was the truly evil Battlezord used by Rita Repulsa and piloted by Goldar to try and outrun the Rangers. Rita used Cyclopsis to attack Earth millennia ago before she was imprisoned in a space junkyard. Cyclopsis’ strength was far superior to that of the Rangers, and they needed to dig deeper to find a way to fight him.

Among the vast forces, the Cylopsis was far stronger than almost any other Rangers opponent. Its power and strength far exceed the Ranger’s Megazords. He has built-in weapons such as rocket batteries, a devastating laser eye, and arms that can be fired and used as giant stun guns that deliver electric shocks to the victim.

9 Ivan Slime

A cruel and evil sorcerer and alien tyrant, Ivan Slime was the main villain in the 1995 Mighty Morphin Power Rangers. While his origins are not necessarily fully known, according to Zordon, the leader of the Rangers, Slime was a terribly evil figure. who ruled the world with a reign of ruthless terror.

The slug possessed almost unrivaled strength, taking a powerful blow from Lord Zedd without even tripping over it. He could liquefy himself and squeeze through even closed doors. He could shoot lightning bolts from his fingers, he could hypnotize his enemies, and he could even materialize weapons out of thin air.

8 Master Vile

Master Vile from Mighty Morphin Power Rangers

Also known as Eldin, Master Vile was actually the father of Rita Repulsa and Rito Revulto. He embodies complete evil and wickedness. His intelligence was excellent, and his ability to strategize against the Rangers made him a very dangerous opponent. He could spit out eggs from his mouth, from which evil monsters were born.

He could corrupt and control the Rangers’ Megazords to fight against the Rangers and Angel Grove. He could teleport and grow without any help from either Rita or Zedd. His strength was only eclipsed by his durability and ability to withstand attacks.

7 terrible toad

Dire Toad from Mighty Morphin Power Rangers

Probably one of the more interesting villains, the Dread Toad was a giant evil toad with a reputation for being punk. He had the ability to easily defeat the 2nd and 3rd Rangers due to his considerable abilities and even absorbed the Yellow Ranger at one point.

He had excellent defensive ability, deflecting most attacks against him with no problem. He had a powerful belly shield that could deflect even the strongest explosions. Ultimately, it was his ability to absorb the powers of the Rangers whenever he absorbed them that made him nearly unstoppable.

6 Rito Revulto

Rito Revulto

Rito Revulto is one of the most adorable villains in Ranger history. Rita Revulsa’s brother, Rito stands at commanding heights and is a formidable skeleton warrior commander. He wields a razor-sharp bone sword.

He had great strength, at times even more than Goldar or the Thunderzords. With his bone sword, he was able to knock down the Megazord with a single swing. He could absorb Rita and Zedd’s lightning and turn into a giant. And like many other incredible enemies, Rito had the ability to shoot lightning bolts from his eyes, causing incredible explosions.

5 chubby pig

Chubby Pig from Mighty Morphin Power Rangers

Although he didn’t look very scary, he basically looked like the face of a pig with legs wearing a Spartan helmet, he was truly a force of evil to be reckoned with. He was probably one of the most notorious enemies of the Rangers, probably because of his ridiculous appearance, but also probably because of his interesting abilities.

Plump Pig had an unlimited appetite and could constantly and constantly consume food, things, and people. He could inhale his victims, also using his ferocious spinning vortex, which brought everything to him. His forks and knives enhanced the sinister power of eating enemies.

4 Guy with eyes

The guy with the eyes from Mighty Morphin Power Rangers

Commissioned by Rita, Eye Guy was a truly lovable villain. In what looks like a mixture of octopus, crab and a box full of bulging eyes, Eye Guy is terrible. There seemed to be some sort of romantic attraction between Eye Guy and Rita, as he often referred to her as “pretty” while showing great devotion to her.

He had several mind blowing abilities such as various lasers, beams and explosions from his multiple eyes. He could regenerate and reassemble himself as long as his main eye was intact. He could also use his primary eye to absorb human minds, which was his only mission. He also had terrible claws in place of the fingers he used in combat, which were as deadly as they were creepy.

3 Goldar

Goldar from Mighty Morphin Power Rangers

One of the few villains who had the ability and strength to take on a team of Power Rangers on his own, Goldar was a mixture of a gorilla and gryphon fighting warrior. With golden armor, majestic wings and a murderous sword, he looked like a villain. He’s just never been a match for the Dino Megazord.

Goldar’s powers were limitless, from being the fourth strongest villain with immeasurable strength and agility to being able to teleport and summon Putty, he was almost unstoppable. He could also shoot fireballs from his eyes, could grow, and was a master swordsman.

2 Lord Zedd

Lord Zedd from Mighty Morphin Power Rangers

Bad news for anyone who decides to claim the title of Emperor of Evil. Lord Zedd, however, did just that. He is the master and leader of the Evil Space Aliens and the main enemy of the Power Rangers. Before becoming her husband, Lord Zedd was the master of the equally terrible Rita Repulsa.

He had the ability to throw growth bombs and greatly enlarge his monsters on the ground when they fought the Rangers, he could teleport, he could throw lightning bolts, and he was an expert in hand-to-hand combat. His power was so overwhelming that he could use his dark magic and win almost any ranger battle he ever faced.

1 Rita Repulsa

Rita Repulsa from Mighty Morphin Power Rangers

She is one of the two main enemies of the Power Rangers (the other being Lord Zedd). She is instantly recognizable by her tousled hair and wand. She was immortal, could teleport and use black magic for all kinds of evil.

Rita had the ability to summon thunder clouds and cause earthquakes. She had the ability to brainwash and once used this ability to turn the Green Ranger (Jason David Frank) Evil to follow her orders. She could use her black magic and singing to turn ordinary objects into monsters. She was truly terrifying.
