In Kyiv, the police exposed a 54-year-old from Kiev, who met a 12-year-old girl on a social network and began sending her pornographic materials. During the pre-trial investigation, investigators of the capital’s police headquarters, together with employees of the Cyber Police Department, established that the communication between the man and his interlocutor was conducted on frank sexual topics, which was illustrated by photos and videos of pornographic content.
Moreover, according to the Metropolitan National Police Department, the man invited the child to his home. When he almost lured the child to a meeting, the police detained the defendant, confiscating his mobile phone with confirmation of correspondence with the minor.
Investigators informed the man about the suspicion of committing crimes under Part 2 of Art. 156 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine - corruption of minors, part 3 of Art. 156-1 - the claim of a child with sexual intentions, part 2 of Art. 301 - distribution of pornographic images to minors. The maximum penalty is up to eight years in prison.
The court has already chosen a preventive measure for the suspect in the form of detention without the possibility of bail.
Recall that earlier in the Sikhovsky District Court of Lviv, the verdict of a pedophile was announced, who in women’s clothes made his way to schools, where he corrupted little girls in the toilets. He received 8 years in prison.
