The tragedy occurred in Vishnevoe, Kyiv region. On Tuesday, March 21, in broad daylight, a 29-year-old woman threw her two-month-old son out of the window of her apartment, located on the fifth floor. Witnesses say the child was still alive when paramedics arrived. True, later it was reported that the baby died in the hospital. Until the police arrived at the scene, the woman did not go downstairs to see what was happening with the child.

This was announced in his telegram channel Andrey Nebitov, head of the Kyiv region police. The chief policeman of the Kyiv region believes that postpartum depression could be the reason for such a terrible act of the mother.

Postpartum depression caused yet another tragedy. In Ternopil, the unfortunate mother drowned her newborn daughter in the toilet. This became known from the verdict of the court.

During the judicial investigation, the woman explained that the child was undesirable for him, he hid his pregnancy from everyone and did not even seek help from doctors. When she started having contractions, she went to the toilet and a newborn living girl weighing 2 kg 800 g … flushed down the toilet and flushed.

In her last words, the unfortunate mother said that she repented, and asked not to punish her too severely. The judge of the Ternopil city district court listened to the request of the defendant and gave the woman a year and a half on probation.
