The police of the Kiev region in Irpen detained a hooligan who opened fire from the balcony of a multi-storey building.
The event took place on March 21, around 17:00. The police were contacted by residents with a message about the shooting in the yard of an apartment building.
“Law enforcement officers found out that the shots were fired by a resident of one of the apartments. The 43-year-old man was found near his residence. The shooter was found with a starting pistol and edged weapons.the police said in a statement.
During the arrest, the attacker tried to maliciously disobey the lawful order of the policeman.
A pre-trial investigation has been launched on the fact of hooliganism. The man faces a restriction of freedom for up to 5 years. He will also be held administratively liable for malicious disobedience to the lawful order of a police officer.
Recall that in January, the capital’s court closed the case against a Kiev resident who fired at a Russian drone from the balcony of his apartment.
