The new Ukrainian Distribution Networks JSC (URM), which will manage state-owned and nationalized Russian power companies, may be headed by a man of the Russian oligarch Konstantin Grigorishin. This is discussed in the material of the publication Delo.ua.
Recall that the Cabinet of Ministers created the URM on November 29, 2022. The company is subordinate to the Ministry of Energy and will become the sole operator of state-owned and nationalized oblenergos. “Khmelnitskoblenergo” and “Nikolayevoblenergo” have already passed into the management of the URM. Next in line are the state-owned Kharkovoblenergo, Ternopoloblenergo, Zaporozhyeoblenergo, as well as the Russian owners of oblenergos - VS Energy, the Energy Standard group, energy assets of Konstantin Grigorishin.
“If a major de-Russification of the energy sector does occur, the URM will concentrate up to 60% of the market and gain huge influence - it will be responsible for the work of oblenergos, the appointment of management, stabilization shutdowns, repairs, purchases, etc.“, - the material says.
According to Delo.ua, the state monopoly URM may be headed by Mikhail Ilnitsky, the current director of Chernigovoblenergo, owned by Russian Grigorishin.

The publication recalls that Shurma is a former member of the Party of Regions, who in 2019 ran for the Verkhovna Rada on the list of the pro-Russian Opposition Bloc, and now oversees energy, industry and subsoil: “Galushchenko came to the energy sector with the people of Andriy Derkach“.
According to Delo.ua, the anti-Russian energy initiatives of the authorities have a beautiful facade, but it stands on loose soil.
