Popular retail chain Pepco has issued a statement announcing the recall of toddler toys. As it turned out, they do not meet safety standards, return them to the store as soon as possible.
Two types of children’s toys have been withdrawn from Pepco stores: a bunny/elephant and a unicorn music box. As a result of tests, it was found that they do not comply with the safety requirements set out in Directive 2009/48/EC on the safety of toys.
“In the interest of the safety of our customers and due to non-compliance with PEPCO safety standards, we have taken the decision to recall several products,” the communiqué reads.
