I am currently working as a news website author at Daily News Hack. I mostly cover trending news and have been doing so for quite some time now. I have always had a keen interest in current affairs and the world around me, which is what led me to my current job. I firmly believe that the best way to learn about something is by doing it yourself and that is why I love my job so much. It allows me to be constantly learning about new things and then sharing that knowledge with others. I am also a big believer in the power of networking and building relationships. I think that LinkedIn is a great platform for connecting with like-minded people from all over the world.

In Slovakia, where temporary asylum for Ukrainians valid until the end of 2022 will be automatically extended until March 4, 2023, the rules for the passage of migrants from Ukraine will be changed.

According to Channel 24, in Bratislava, from January 1, 2023, free travel on buses, trains, and trolleybuses will be canceled for our fellow citizens. There are a number of exceptions to this rule.

Thus, it will be possible to use public transport free of charge on the day of receipt of temporary protection documents and four days - by rail or suburban transport.

Students under the age of 18 will be able to use public transport free of charge in the future. To do this, you must have proof of asylum and proof of school attendance.

The right not to pay for travel within 60 days from the date of obtaining the status of temporary protection is reserved for Ukrainians who will need to travel to work. To do this, in addition to other documents, you must provide a certificate from the employer about the employment contract.

To qualify for free travel, you must:

  • show Ukrainian or foreign passport;

  • special document SLOVAK HELP with a red stamp with text in Ukrainian, issued when crossing the state border;

  • or a document granting temporary protection.
