In Krivoy Rog, where an operation was recently carried out to rescue miners stuck underground due to de-energization of mines, a new state of emergency is approaching: the movement of all transport will be stopped in order to save electricity.
This was announced by the head of the city military administration Alexander Vilkul.
“The introductory letter from Ukrenergo has just come to turn off all substations of the trolleybus, tram and light rail in order not to turn off the boiler and pump stations. In the next half hour, all electric transport in the city will be completely stopped,” he wrote.
According to the mayor, minibuses will continue to operate in the city, the number of buses on the central routes will also be increased, but to a small extent.
Vilkul asked the townspeople not to travel on personal business, and the heads of enterprises to start letting people go earlier in order to reduce the burden on work transportation.
Earlier it was reported that after a massive enemy shelling on November 23, Krivoy Rog was completely de-energized. On Thursday evening, critical infrastructure facilities in the Dnipropetrovsk region were already with electricity, with the exception of Krivoy Rog and Nikopol.
Recall that after the rocket attacks of the Rashists on November 23, the capital was also de-energized: light, heat and water disappeared from the houses.
