Lewis Hamilton pins Verstappen again. This one is not required

Must read

Max Verstappen dominates the Formula 1 season. The Dutchman has no equal. He won the tenth race in a row, making history. Much has been said about the dominance of the Red Bull team. This did not please Lewis Hamilton, who once again did not fail to attack a younger opponent.

The current season of Formula 1 is held by Max Verstappen. The current world champion has won 12 of the 14 rounds of the world championship so far. The remaining “non-winning” competition was won by his teammate Sergio Pérez. It seems that no one and nothing can stop the Dutchman from winning a third title.

Lewis Hamilton attacks Verstappen again

Red Bull dominates Formula 1 more than under Sebastian Vettel. Before the 2021 Verstappen World Cup, Mercedes was leading the way in the “queen of motorsport”. Lewis Hamilton lost the championship only once to teammate Nico Rosberg between 2014 and 2020. Although during his triumphs there was also much talk of dominance, now the Briton looks at the current Red Bull advantage with reluctance.

Hamilton has been sticking pins into Verstappen for months now. It usually pays off the same. The Briton extended his contract for another two seasons, which means that he will be in Formula 1 until the age of forty. During the Italian Grand Prix, he was asked about the success of the Dutchman. The seven-time world champion openly stated that Verstappen’s teammates are not at the level that they were at home.

“I am no more impressed by the victories of Michael Schumacher, Sebastian Vettel, Kimi Raikkonen or Fernando Alonso. It is the same. Also, all of my teammates were stronger than the ones Max had. I had Jenson Button, Alonso, George Russell, Valtier Bottas and Nico Rosberg. He didn’t fight anyone else,” Hamilton said in an interview with Sky, quoted by Przegląd Sportowy.

Max Verstappen responded to ridicule

Verstappen didn’t owe Hamilton. He said that the Briton can be jealous, and it is difficult for Mercedes to come to terms with defeat. In the general classification, 38-year-old Stevenage is fourth, 180 points behind the Dutchman.
