Blue Media, which has been in business for almost 25 years, is disappearing and will be replaced by Autopay after a rebrand. The brand that made history was the first to launch fast interbank transfers more than a decade ago.
Blue Media, which has existed since 1999, is starting a rebranding. The well-known logo will be replaced by the Autopay sign. Blue Media is a company we know, for example. from instant internet transfers (Blue Cash) or motorway tolls (Autopay).
Autopay will replace Blue Media
Blue Media, as recalled by Bankier.pl, was the first to launch Blue Cash fast interbank transfers in Poland. This happened in 2011, a year before the launch of the Express Elixir KIR system. In the same year, it also introduced fast online transfers (2011) and, more recently, the Autopay system to automatically cross highways (2019). The latter brand will now become the hallmark of the group.

We wanted more emphasizes Andrzej Anthony, co-founder and CEO of Blue Media. – Our company has always had a unique start-up energy, we have been the initiators of technological changes in the market, but we have always remained in the shadows as a proven and proven business partner that ensures the security of customer payments. Now we want our users to get to know us better, our values and brand - he adds.
Evolution, not revolution
Change should be gradual. First, the company will introduce a new logo, visual identity and umbrella brand mission. Blue Media, Autopay Mobility and the German company Autopay GmbH will operate under the Autopay brand.
According to Bankier.pl, about 600 million transactions were made through Blue Media products last year. The turnover of services amounted to more than PLN 40 billion, which statistically means that Blue Media’s online payments processed purchases and flows of a statistical pole (such as paying bills) in the amount of more than PLN 1,000. Blue Media services are used by 35 thousand companies, and Blue Media online payments are used by 10 million people every month (almost 2 million users have already registered in the Autopay application alone).
