An unfortunate episode that could have had bad consequences occurred in a National Basketball League (NBA) playoff game between the Philadelphia 66ers and the Boston Celtics.
In the middle of the final quarter, the guest player Grant Williams ended up on the parquet in the fight for the ball, and the leader of the Sixers, Joel Embiid, accidentally, stepping back, stepped on his head and stamped on the floor. Fortunately, the 130-kilogram basketball player reacted in time and did not transfer his entire body weight to the supporting leg, otherwise a big disaster could happen.

After this episode, Williams, who had a torn lip and blood all over his mouth, was treated on the bench, and then he was able to return to the floor. Joel apologized to him, and the “Boston Celtics” eventually brought the match to victory (114:102) and leads the series – 2:1.
By the way, this was not the only emotional moment in the match involving Embiid - after the final siren, the basketball player was solemnly awarded the best player of the 2022/2023 regular season.
