Marc-André ter Stegen talked about the Polish representative in an interview with Mundo Deportivo. The Barcelona goalkeeper has admitted that filling the gap after the 34-year-old, who has been a leading figure in Catalan pride since the start of the season, will not be easy.

Ter Stegen identified Robert Lewandowski as a striker who makes the difference in every game and he will be missed in the next three games. “He is a player who matters, but I am calm because we know that we have many qualities, especially in attack,” said the German.

Memphis Depay is a natural replacement for the Pole, but Ferran Torres can also play as a striker. “It will not be easy to make up for the loss of Lewandowski, but I am sure that we will manage,” he assured.
