The enemy continues attempts to completely occupy the Luhansk and Donetsk regions: the Armed Forces of Ukraine repelled 19 attacks in a day

The four hundred and sixty-third day of the large-scale armed aggression of the Russian Federation against our state continues.

During the day, the enemy launched 12 missile strikes using 10 Iskander-type ballistic and cruise missiles on Kyiv (destroyed by our defenders) and 2 S-300 anti-aircraft guided missiles on Kharkov. In addition, he launched 36 air strikes and made about 10 attacks from multiple launch rocket systems on the positions of our troops and settlements.

Unfortunately, there are dead and wounded among the civilian population, including children, a children’s clinic, apartment buildings, private houses and other civilian infrastructure have been damaged, the General Staff said.

The enemy continues to focus his main efforts on attempts to completely occupy the Lugansk and Donetsk regions. During the day, units of the defense forces repelled 19 enemy attacks.

Aviation of the defense forces inflicted 9 strikes per day on the areas of concentration of personnel and military equipment, as well as on enemy anti-aircraft missile systems.

During the day, missile and artillery units hit 1 command post, 1 anti-aircraft missile system, 5 artillery units in a firing position, 9 areas where enemy weapons and military equipment were concentrated.

The Russian occupation troops continue to suffer heavy losses on the battlefield. As a result, the enemy continues to equip civilian institutions in the temporarily occupied territories for medical facilities.

So, in the village of Melitopol, Zaporozhye region, the occupiers have equipped a children’s sanatorium for a military hospital, where more than 200 occupiers with injuries of varying severity are being treated.

Also, Russian terrorists, violating the laws of international humanitarian law, placed a base of Russian military personnel with military equipment on the territory of the Melitopol Alexander Nevsky Cathedral.
