Buckingham Palace has not confirmed that members of the British royal family are present at the wedding, so the arrival of Kate Middleton and Prince William for the wedding of Prince Hussein and Rajwa Al Saif came as a surprise.
The Prince and Princess of Wales arrived in Jordan without their three children: Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis.
This is the first major international event involving members of other royal families, and is being attended by Prince William and Kate Middleton this year. Crown Prince Hussein and Rajwa Al Saif marry in an Islamic marriage ceremony in the gardens of the Zahran Palace in Amman, attended by about 140 guests.
