The film is set to gross $17.5 million this weekend, and it will cross the $250 million mark at the national box office today. Globally, the film will cross the $600 million mark this weekend and has already secured a place in the top 10 highest-grossing R-rated films of all time.
Last week Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mutant Turtles is in close combat with Oppenheimer. The animated film is also expecting around $17 million this weekend after grossing just under $3 million on Thursday. Meanwhile, Mag 2: Trench is looking for a bigger drop in the second weekend and will earn about $12 million in three days after making $2.1 million on Thursday.
