Nothing compares to waiting for a sequel that has been worked on for a long time. WITH Quick X The hype train reaches breakneck speed with just a week left, fans are hungry for any information they can get. However, it should be noted that this hunger doesn’t usually extend to spoilers, and thanks to a new report from The Wrap, it looks like we’re all having a bout of indigestion ahead of the release date.

Even before most media outlets had a chance to show the film, The Wrap reported that one pillar of the franchise, perhaps the one whose absence was most conspicuous, would actually not be missing from the film at all. Yes, it turns out Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, who first appeared in fast five as Luke Hobbs, will reprise his role on the show in a post-credits scene.

The character was last seen in a spin-off of the franchise. Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs and Shaw opposite Jason Statham like Deckard Shaw. With the advent of Statham in Fast X, along with nearly every other prominent character that has ever graced fast saga, it makes sense for Hobbs to appear as the film nears its two-part or possibly three-part finale.

“Fulfill Your Destiny”

This news is also the culmination of an off-screen saga, just like in 2021, the star of the franchise. VIN diesel publicly called for Johnson to appear in the film, asking him to “fulfill his destiny” by reprising the role. At the time, Johnson openly declined the invitation, but it’s not clear at this point if he changed his mind or if it was all part of some long game they played.
