“I think… that John Wick character is dead? Yes. There are other versions or… I don’t know, I never say never. This is a long life. […] We’re also developing other objects, and I think there’s a lot of room for movies with other characters or other ways of building the movie world that’s sort of a transfer to other characters. […] Making Ballerina was actually a really interesting process because it’s a lot of what we take from the John Wick movies but in a slightly different way. It was fun to work on John Wick 4 and Ballerina at the same time, and the TV show has a lot of Wick, but a lot of different versions of it. […] So it’s just fun to work on the Wick universe in different ways.”

John Wick The universe is just beginning

Ballerina will certainly be an interesting experience as we will see for the first time John Wick The universe through the eyes of another character. Sure, we can expect more impressive action scenes and action sequences, but we’re yet to find out just how deadly Ana de Armas Rooney’s character is and how exactly she fits into the High Table-ruled underworld of assassins. Most likely, she will enter it unwittingly, as she wants to avenge the murder of her parents.

Continentalon the other hand will probably increase the mythology John Wick universe as it is centered around a chain of hotels where killers can get a good night’s sleep without worrying about getting killed. The miniseries will likely delve into the High Table and its members and how they operate when it comes to other assassins who are not John Wick.

Ballerina And Continental no release dates are known yet, but the producer has teased a September release window for the miniseries. John Wick: Chapter 4 now in cinemas everywhere.
