We all want 2023 to be our year. But unfortunately it looks like some of us got off to a bad start, including Hugh Jackman. The multifaceted Australian actor took to Twitter this morning to talk about some of his worries for the coming year, and yes, it’s related to the upcoming Deadpool 3.
A video posted earlier today shows Jackman sitting in a chair and addressing the viewer face-to-face with a sullen and serious expression. “Hello everyone,” he begins. “It’s 2023 now and I really, really wanted to send a positive signal at the start of the year. But,” he adds, rolling his eyes, “recent events have made that impossible.”
And what could be the source of Jackman’s horror? Well that would be Ryan Reynolds, of course, Jackman’s longtime friend and partner in a long-running fake feud. The pair have created their fair share of internet-breaking content through years of their feigned rivalry, which apparently peaked last September when the pair announced the return of Wolverine Jackman to the upcoming series.
