Exceptional turnout, up to 400 cars including a 1958 Giulietta Spider. Italian car enthusiasts emphasize that the 2023 Forza Italia rally was very successful.
The number of participants in this year’s event surprised the organizers themselves. More than three thousand people visited the Rosalina Palace near Warsaw. More than 400 Italian cars were exhibited. More than half of them were Alfa Romeo cars.
Oh what energy it was
The leitmotif of the exhibition was the 100th anniversary of the Quadrifoglio, the symbol with which Alfa Romeo signs its most sporty models with the highest performance. The four-leaf green clover symbol first appeared in 1923 on the RL “Corsa” car, which won the 14th Targa Florio, then the most prestigious automobile race in the world. Today, the same symbol can be found on the sporty bodies of the Giulia and Stelvio editions.
The title of “Rally Car” went to the “SZ” model.
The oldest rally car was the historic 1958 Giulietta Spider. The Rally Car title went to a perfectly preserved 1991 Alfa Romeo SZ. The car from Milan bypassed the numerous Maserati, Lamborghini and Ferrari presented. Many were also interested in the lectures prepared by the organizer - about tourism in the Apennine Peninsula, buying a house on the Garda River, how to assemble a rally team from scratch, or tips on repairing and tuning carburetors in classic Italian models.
