Driving tests have become more expensive. This was what the representatives of WORD wanted, and the Ministry of Infrastructure agreed to their requests.
The misunderstanding between representatives of the regional traffic centers and the Ministry of Infrastructure lasted for quite a long time. Of course, it was about money - the former argued that in an era of inflation, driving tests simply have to become more expensive. The latter did not want to introduce increases, which even led to strikes that paralyzed the examinations.
The parties managed to reach an agreement, as a result of which amendments were made to the Law on Road Traffic and the Law on Drivers of Vehicles. It was published Dec. 14 in the Journal of Laws.
The changes relate to the way WORD is funded.
“The amended provision allows the activities of unprofitable WORDs to be financed through “targeted subsidies” from the budgets of the provincial assemblies. The subsidy is granted on the basis of an agreement between the voivodship marshal and the voivodeship director, and the subsidy itself cannot exceed 50 percent. expenses related to the statutory activities of the center.
Does it change anything in terms of driver candidates or people who want to earn more driving license categories? Article 56a of the amended Law concerns the maximum prices for expert examinations.
“The amount of the fee for conducting the state examination is determined by the voivodship assembly by means of a regulation, which is an act of local law, and the amount of the fee for conducting the theoretical part of the examination cannot exceed Polish zlotys. fifty”.
Were 30 and 140 zł
The theory fee has increased, but the practical exam fee has also increased. In the case of a category B driving license, i.e. the most popular, as well as categories AM, A1, A2, A, B1, C1, D1 and T, from January 1 you can pay a maximum of PLN 200 (previously PLN 140). . In the case of categories B+E, C1+E,C,C+E,D,D+E, D1+E, the amount increases to PLN 250.
