Russian President Vladimir Putin is preparing the country for a large-scale war in which he will not reckon with the victims. This was told by military expert Oleg Zhdanov.

According to him, a real partial mobilization has been going on in Russia since April, and a full one practically since September.

“Now they continue to recruit mobilized personnel. And officially they say that on January 5-9 the second wave of mobilization will be announced. But for this, I think that they will close the borders, ” the expert said, noting that they could introduce martial law.

Zhdanov stressed that the Russians were “pumped up” with propaganda that the whole world is against them.

“It seems that they are at war with NATO, although there is not a single NATO soldier on the territory of Ukraine. It seems to be for the sovereignty and independence of Russia. Show me the one who took even one centimeter of her land from her. Everything happened the other way around.”Zhdanov emphasized.

The expert suggests that the second wave of mobilization of Russians may affect the front in Ukraine.

“It will be more difficult for us to grind the Russian military machine when it is pumped up with a large number of personnel. Here is the hope for our partners”, he added.

Recall, political scientist Alexei Golobutsky believes that, despite the support of the war among Russians, Putin’s power is not so unshakable. The head of the Kremlin is feverishly looking for whom he can still rely on, balancing between different groups of influence. At present, in Russia, the war is the main “reinforcement” of Putin’s power.
