“It was previously established that a 19-year-old Kharkiv woman lost control of her car and allowed a Mitsubishi Pajero to overturn. The accident occurred on August 27 at about 04:45 on the Kharkov-Volchansk highway in Stary Saltov. As a result of the accident, two passengers of the vehicle, a 28-year-old woman and a 25-year-old man, died on the spot. The driver received multiple injuries. She was taken to the hospital. Another 21-year-old passenger refused hospitalization. Investigators opened criminal proceedings under Part 2 of Art. 286 (violation of traffic safety rules or transport operation by persons driving vehicles) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The sanction of the article provides for imprisonment for up to 8 years with deprivation of the right to drive vehicles for a period of five to eight years.- the message says.
