People’s Deputy of Ukraine Yelizaveta Yaskowho, after the arrest in Georgia in the fall of 2021 of the head of the Executive Committee for Reforms of Ukraine and former Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili, reported on their relationship, said that she became a mother during the war.
She announced the birth of a child on social networks on Children’s Day, without specifying exactly when the baby was born. Liza Yasko only noted that this happened in the terrible realities of the war.
“We don’t think about summer. We think about protecting our children. Children who, unfortunately, cannot have the safety of their home due to the full-scale aggression of Russia. I could never imagine that the father of the child would not be free and in good health at very important moments that we planned to be together. My child is my love. For a father, our child is his Ukrainian roots and Ukrainian continuation, which he dreamed about and so wanted to have, being proud of his passport of a citizen of Ukraine. I never thought that giving birth to a child during the war is really scary. Scary and very creepy thinking about the future. We imagined everything differently. Circumstances and reality were very different.”– writes the deputy.
Recall that in Georgia, Mikheil Saakashvili has a little daughter, Alice Maria.
The Georgian ex-president has repeatedly appealed to the world community to save his life, saying that after his arrest, he developed more than 20 serious diseases.
