To do this, the attacker posted ads for the provision of services of an intimate nature in various resources of the Internet network, administered the pages of women in social networks and promoted their profiles. In addition, she corresponded with clients, determined the price and agreed on the place and type of intimate services that the recruited women were to provide, the National Police stated.
A search was carried out at the place of residence of the offender, during which the investigators seized material evidence of illegal activity.
The citizen was detained in accordance with Article 208 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine and placed in a temporary detention facility. She was also informed of suspicion of committing a crime under Part 2 of Art. 303 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. We are talking about the involvement of a person in prostitution using the vulnerable state of this person or pimping committed against several persons.
According to the current legislation, this crime is punishable by imprisonment for a term of four to seven years.
The investigation continues. The issue of choosing a suspected measure of restraint is being decided.
