In October last year, the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Moscow Region carried out the expropriation of apartments. Until that time, the Ministry of Defense did not explain what kind of “state needs” it was supposed to satisfy. On March 24, a delegation from the residents of the residential complex itself attempted to pay a visit to the intelligence office.
According to Ukrainian News, a dozen residents, together with journalists from Channel 5 and ICTV, wanted to get the GUR an answer to only one question: who appropriated the housing of dozens of families and why?
“Employees of the GUR, in agreement with the employees of the DBR, forcibly alienated property, and it is also planned to requisition property, namely apartments belonging to the construction customer Andrey Nikolaevich Martynov and Sofia Club LLC. Among the owners of apartments there are families with children, the elderly, the disabled. We are unfairly left without housing, which we purchased at our own expense! Currently, all apartments have been re-registered for GUR”, - it was said in the letter they brought with fifty signatures.
Under the pretext that the building of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense is a secure facility, and even under martial law, people who were immobilized by his order did not manage to meet directly with Kirill Budanov. Journalist Artem Shevchenko undertook to hand over the open letter personally to the head of Ukrainian intelligence, but there is still no answer to it.
“Not a single representative of the GUR came out and informed us, the citizens of Ukraine, about the ways to solve the current problem, the worried residents say. - Therefore, we can only directly address the media and the President with a request to save our homes from illegal encroachments by officials of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.”
Earlier, FACTS reported about the scandal surrounding the Goloseevskaya Dolina residential complex. The Kiev city prosecutor’s office reported that it had returned 7.7 hectares of land to the property of Kyiv, thus leaving one and a half thousand families without housing.
