Seniority pension: to whom is assigned and having sizes

An old-age pension is assigned from the day after the retirement age, if a person applied to the Pension Fund on time.

Pensions for length of service are established for certain categories of citizens employed in work, the performance of which leads to loss of professional ability to work or fitness. This was recalled in the PFU.

The conditions for the appointment and the duration of the special length of service, which gives the right to a pension for long service, depend on the professions / positions in which the person worked and the law according to which such a pension is awarded.

Seniority pensions are awarded regardless of age:

- artists, if they have at the time of applying for a pension the experience of creative activity from 20 to 35 years;

- aviation workers and flight test personnel with the appropriate length of service for men from 25 years old as of 04/01/2015 up to 26 years 6 months as of 10/11/2017, for women - from 20 years as of 04/01/2015 up to 21 years 6 months as of 10/11/2017;

– employees of education, healthcare and social security with a special work experience of 25 years or more as of 04/01/2015 up to 26 years 6 months as of 10/11/2017;

- athletes with at least 25 years of experience, including staying in the national teams of Ukraine for at least 6 years.

After reaching aged 50/55 for men, 45/50 for women and if there is an appropriate total length of service, including length of service by profession/position:

- air traffic controllers; engineering and technical staff of civil aviation

- flight attendants;

- employees of railway transport and subway;

- employees engaged in field exploration work;

- machine operators (docker-machine operators) in ports;

- seafarers of the sea, river fleet and fishing industry fleet.

The amount of pensions is determined in accordance with Articles 27, 28 of the Law “On Compulsory State Pension Insurance” and depends on the duration of the acquired insurance period and the wages received, from which insurance premiums were paid.

Appointed from the date of application upon dismissal from a job / position giving the right to such a pension.

The retirement pension is awarded military personnel upon discharge from military service:

- regardless of age, if on the day of dismissal they have at least 25 calendar years of service;

- in case of reaching the age of 45 on the day of dismissal from the service and in the presence of an insurance period of 25 years or more, of which at least 12 calendar years and 6 months is the service.

The size of pensions is determined: from 50% (for those dismissed due to age or for health reasons from 55%) to 70% of the corresponding amounts of their monetary allowance, depending on the length of service.

The minimum amount of pensions for years of service to the military cannot be lower than UAH 3,854.

The right to a retirement pension regardless of age prosecutorswho, on the day of applying for the appointment of such a pension, have at least 25 years of service, including at least 15 years of work experience in the positions of prosecutors.

The size of pensions is determined - 60% of the amount of their monthly salary.

For employees who do not have a length of service of 25 years, but who have served as prosecutors for at least 15 years and have an insurance record of 35 years for men, 30 years for women, a seniority pension is assigned after reaching 57 years for men, 55 years for women.

The amount of the pension is determined in proportion to the number of full years of work in prosecutorial positions.

Recall that in March the Cabinet promises to increase payments to all pensioners.
