The statements of Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov caused outrage in more than one country. And his statements about Moldova as a “second Ukraine” testify to the degradation of Lavrov as a diplomat. This was stated Speaker of the Moldovan Parliament Igor Grosu on the TV channel “TVR-Moldova”.

“From an anthropological point of view, Sergey Lavrov’s statements are at a serious level of degradation of public behavior towards the country, on the part of a diplomat, - said the Speaker of the Parliament, Igor Grosu. - Sergei Lavrov neglected the elementary rules of communication with the country. There is so much chauvinism and rotten imperialism here that smells of death, blood, suffering, villages wiped off the face of the earth.”

The speaker of parliament in Chisinau said that someone had asked Lavrov why the Russian military was wiping Ukrainian villages off the face of the earth.

““They act professionally” - such an answer from a high-ranking official, and not even the lowest in Russia, is great. The entire civilized world should be on the alert for such slippage, such degradation.” the speaker said.

According to Igor Gros, such statements represent a real danger, which manifests itself in detail in Ukraine.

“We are not talking about the classic struggle between two armies, one of which is invading, while the other is defending its country. You see what the Russians are doing with critical infrastructure. It is not only military installations that become targets. They are aimed at residential areas, power distribution nodes, heat distribution nodes. This barbaric behavior poses a real threat to the entire civilized world.” – said Igor Grosu.

Earlier, Moldovan President Maia Sandu turned to the allies for help because of Russia’s attempts to destabilize the country. In addition, analysts warned about Putin’s intentions to invade Moldova.
