Suspected of corruption, the director of the Velykobychkovsky forestry and hunting farm, Yuriy Soima, whose criminal case is being considered in court, who has a well-established reputation as a representative of the “forest mafia” of Transcarpathia, is implementing schemes with subsidiary plots in his forestry enterprise. In particular, the publication published a document on the lease of a forest area of 0.8 hectares, located in quarter 11, section 10, of the Verkhnevodnyansky forestry of the Velikobychkovsky forestry, to LLC Purkaretsin. The site was transferred for 49 years for recreational activities. According to the text of the agreement, there are noany infrastructure facilities, roads, paved areas, etc.. The cost of renting this site for Purkaretsin LLC in 2021 amounted to 454 hryvnia 47 kopecks per month.
“However, if you look at reality, how the plot was leased, it turns out that the lease agreement contains clearly false information. In fact, a whole fish breeding complex has been built on this site. There are utility buildings, several artificial fish pools, a decorative fish cesspool, a gazebo, a recreation area, a power line was laid and an access road was equipped.- the article says.
According to the publication, all this was built on the site “even before it was leased to Purkaretsin LLC, as evidenced by local residents and confirmed by photographs taken for the lease.”
“So it turns out that Yuriy Soima leased out a whole business facility, not only that it is state-owned, and was equipped exclusively for state funds. Such an approach to the management of state property should at least seriously interest law enforcement agencies. It was she who managed to force the head of the Internal Audit Sector of the State Forest Agency I.A. Petrov to amend the act of the audit of the Velikobychkovsky forestry”- the article says.
