I am currently working as a news website author at Daily News Hack. I mostly cover trending news and have been doing so for quite some time now. I have always had a keen interest in current affairs and the world around me, which is what led me to my current job. I firmly believe that the best way to learn about something is by doing it yourself and that is why I love my job so much. It allows me to be constantly learning about new things and then sharing that knowledge with others. I am also a big believer in the power of networking and building relationships. I think that LinkedIn is a great platform for connecting with like-minded people from all over the world.

In the National Rehabilitation Center “Indestructible” a prosthetic leg was installed for 70-year-old Alexander Doronin from Avdiivka. Now he is taking his first steps on it. It is reported by the First Medical Association of Lviv:

“Our patient lived for half a year under daily shelling and tried to lead a familiar life. He took care of two cats and a dog, took care of the household, cultivated a garden. In August, I decided to dig up potatoes. To do this, he independently cleared a garden “littered” with mines.

After the pensioner took out 12 ammunition, there was an explosion. Alexander Doronin lost consciousness, and when he came to, he saw that his right leg was missing.

“All he remembers is how he crawled 150 meters on one hand in the direction of the nearest house,” doctors said. - The bloodied man was spotted by neighbors. It was they who stopped the bleeding and took him to a dilapidated local hospital. Then there were several days in the medical facilities of Pokrovsk and the Dnieper, and then an evacuation train to Lviv.”

Alexander Doronin has been in the rehabilitation center for more than three months. During this time, the surgeons managed to heal the amputated limb and prepare it for prosthetics.

Prosthesis installed by Alexander

In parallel with her husband, specialists in rehabilitation - physical and psychological - worked. And just the other day, prosthetists installed a prosthesis for the patient. For the first time since August 13, the patient walked a few steps without crutches.

According to doctors, rehabilitation continued ahead of the injured. He must learn to use the prosthesis in order to stand confidently on his feet. Grandfather has no relatives left in Avdiivka, but he still dreams of returning there. There, his cats and dog are waiting for him. Yes, and the garden, he says, should be planted in the spring.
