Halvor Egner Granerud won Raw Air 2023. His main rival, Stefan Kraft, even won the last competition in Vikersund, but this was not enough for the fit Norwegian. Here is the final classification of this year’s release of the series. We know where all the Poles have taken their place.

Stefan Kraft went out of his way to overtake Halvor Egner Granerud in the Raw Air series. The Austrian even won the Sunday event in Vikersund, but that was not enough to win the Ski Jumping World Cup this year.

Wards of Thomas Turnbichler in the final competition on the Vikersundbakken were weakened. David Kubacki withdrew from the series prior to the prologue. According to the Polish Ski Association, the World Cup runner-up left Norway for “personal reasons”. Thus, the athlete from Novy Targ lost his chance to fight for the podium in Raw Air.

Raw Air 2023: what place did the Poles take?

The only Pole to make it into the top ten was Kamil Stoch, who ended the series in eighth place. Petr Zhyla, who had problems with his form during the competition, ended up in 16th place. As a result, David Kubacki fell to 23rd place, and Alexander Zniszol, who jumped perfectly on Sunday, overtook our leader and missed about 80 points.

Paweł Vonsek, who broke his personal record in the distance jump on Sunday, finished in 27th place. Jakub Wolny, who left the national team due to illness, finished in 55th place, and Andrzej Stenkala, who replaced him on Raw Air, finished in 63rd place.
