The second set began in favor of the 25-year-old Swiss, although the game of our representative did not leave much to be desired. With the score 40:40 in the first game, Iga Sviontek could not break her opponent and lost. There is nothing bad that would not turn out to be good, because in the second game, the Rashinian did not give her opponent a chance and equalized the score.
Then the 21-year-old athlete defeated the Swiss at 40:30 and took the lead in the second set. We had to wait until the next game to get him up to two points. Belinda Bencic did not give up and successfully repulsed the attacks of the Pole, although the latter managed to bring the score to 40:40. This time, Iga Sviontek did not break her opponent and lost, but still retained her lead.
