Scooby-Doo became an instant classic when it aired in 1969 and received several spin-offs. One such spark to keep the franchise feeling fresh was the introduction of Scrappy-Doo in 1979. Fans could have fun following Scooby’s overconfident nephew through numerous featurettes, TV series and eventually a three-movie series, including Scooby Doo! and a reluctant werewolf. This would be Scrappy’s last appearance until the 2002 live-action film.
Scooby Doo! and a reluctant werewolf follows Scooby and Scrappy, both voiced Don Messickand Shaggy Casey Kasem, who voiced Shaggy for 28 years when they gather at Dracula’s castle for the Monster Road Rally. In a funny twist of events, Shaggy turns into a werewolf, and it’s up to his buddies to help him win the race and return to human form.

Scooby-Doo and the Ghoul School is part of a series of TV specials along with Reluctant Werewolf and again starring only Scooby, Shaggy and Scrappy, not the entire Mystery Inc gang. After being hired as PE teachers, the three friends soon figure out that Miss Grimwood’s Girls’ Graduation School is a school for students of the paranormal.
Frightened by their realization, the trio are introduced to the students; the vampire Sibella and daughter of Dracula, the howling werewolf Vinnie; the reanimated Elsa Frankenthin, the ghost of the Phantasm and the youngest of the group, Tanis, the Mummy’s daughter. After 30 years, five ghoul girls will appear in 2018. OK KO! Let’s be heroes monster party series.
8/10 “Scooby-Doo and the Alien Invaders” (2000) - 6.8
Best known for depicting classic horror monsters and creatures, Scooby-Doo and the Alien Invaders was a playful step into science fiction. Much like campy UFO movies from the 50’s depicting strange encounters with extraterrestrial life, the story finds Scooby and Shaggy lost in the desert and abducted by aliens! However, not everything is as it seems…
alien invaders sees the entire gang with updated voice acting, including Scott Innes like Shaggy and Scooby Mary Kay Bergman as Daphne, unfortunately her last role before her death in 1999. BJ Ward like Velma and Frank Welker in his longtime vocal performance as Fred. The cast also features hippie love interest Krystal and her dog Amber, both voiced by Candi Milofor Shaggy and Scooby somersaults.
7/10 ‘Scooby Doo! Stage Fright “(2013) - 6.9
Scooby Doo! stage fright takes a page from Phantom of the Opera, in which a villain named Ghost lives in an old opera house. As Fred brags about his guitar skills, the gang travels to Chicago to perform on Daphne’s favorite show. Talent Star; they learn that the old opera house is haunted. The Phantom is obsessed with the victory of a certain contestant. However, the hijinx never ends as multiple Phantoms are discovered.
stage fright features an even more updated voice cast, including Matthew Lillard as Shaggy, after playing the character in the 2002 and 2004 live-action films, a prolific voice actress. Gray DeLise like Daphne, Mindy Cohn like Velma and return, as always, it’s Welker as Fred and also voices Scooby. Notable actors providing their vocal cords in guest performances. Vivica A. Fox, Wayne Bradyand Peter MacNicol as the gang tries to solve the Ghost’s mystery in a classic prank revealed.
6/10 ‘Scooby Doo! Abracadabra Doo! (2009) - 6.9
Scooby Doo! Abracadabra Doo! follows the gang as they drive to O’Flannery Castle, home of the Whirlen Merlyn Magic Academy, to check on Velma’s little sister Madeleine (Danica McKellar). The gang finds the castle under attack from the legendary Griffin, an eagle creature with a lion’s body. While investigating O’Flannery’s past, encountering the Banshee and a number of suspicious characters, the gang tries to solve the case.
Abracadabra Doo! represents the first sound Matthew Lillard like Shaggy. Lillard is best known as Shaggy in the Scooby-Doo games written by James Gunn. While these films don’t rank high on IMDb user ratings, Lillard’s great performance as a funky and lovable goof translates beautifully into his vocal performance of the iconic character. Abracadabra Doo! the return of design for the gang is also celebrated, as they all don their original signature outfits.
5/10 Scooby-Doo Meets the Boo Brothers (1987) - 6.9
Scooby-Doo Meets the Boo Brothers is the first TV movie based on the Scooby-Doo franchise, which aired on October 18, 1987. Like its subsequent parts, Scooby-Doo and the Ghoul School and Scooby-Doo and the Werewolf Reluctantly in 1988 they were going back and forth using exclamation marks after Scooby-Doo, the film is only about Scooby, Shaggy and Scrappy-Doo in a chilling mystery.
Featuring the original voice acting of Messick as Scooby and Scrappy and Kasem as Shaggy, the three buddies travel to Shaggy’s late uncle’s plantation to collect his inheritance, where they are haunted by the ghost of a Confederate soldier and other frightening ghouls. Scrappy then names the ghost slayers the Boo Brothers, made up of Miko, Friko, and Shriko. As a humorous tribute three puppets, The Boo brothers help Shaggy find the hidden gems.
4/10 Scooby-Doo and the Cyber Chase (2001) - 7.0
Scooby-Doo and the Cyber Chase would be the last film made by both Hanna and Barbera shortly before William Hanna’s death, but the film was praised for its gripping plot despite the sad news. On an even darker note, the film did not feature Bergman’s voice acting as Daphne after her death in 1999, so DeLise respectfully took on the role and continues to reprise her performance of Daphne to this day.
Scooby-Doo and the Cyber Chase watch the team battle a phantom virus after being trapped inside a video game made about them and forced to clear the game to escape. Possibly the most memorable scene in the film, the entire gang encounter virtual outdated versions of themselves. The two mirror groups are identical except for a simplified virtual gang design and costume differences for a humorous double dose of fun.
3/10 ‘Scooby Doo! Panic Camp “(2010) - 7.2
Scooby Doo! camp of fear takes the gang to summer camp and Fred returns to his childhood camp “Little Elk” to work as counselors at the camp; however, upon arrival, he finds that the camp is all but deserted. Fred is then told that the campers were frightened by the legend of the Lumberjack, a former camp leader who went mad because of practical jokes and returned to take revenge. This fun summer camp setting elicits adorable laughter and nostalgic scares when the Mystery Inc. finds old campfire stories come to life.
Featuring the recent selection of Lillard, Griffin, Cohn and Welker as the gang. camp of fear includes many other notable voice actors such as Tara Strongoften portraying Harley Quinn, Phil Lamarrknown to many COLUMBIA REGION and star Wars vote, Dee Bradley Baker who repeats his performance for the entire squad of clones in Star Wars: bad batch Season 2 and Luke Skywalker himself Mark Hamill.
2/10 Scooby-Doo and the Ghost of the Witch (1999) - 7.2
In a play about the Salem witch trials Scooby-Doo and the Ghost of the Witch follows Mystery Inc. to the fictional New England town of Okhaven, aiming to turn the town’s history of witch trials into a tourist spot. Invited by acclaimed horror writer Ben Ravencroft (Tim Curry), he explains to the gang that his ancestor Sarah Ravencroft was an evil witch. Eventually her ghost begins to terrorize the city.
Meanwhile, the city is hosting the Fall Harvest Festival, and all-girl gothic rock band The Hex Girls help draw the crowds. Consists of lead singer and guitarist Sally “Thorn” McKnight (Jennifer Hale), drummer and singer of Dusk (Jane Wiedlin), as well as keyboardist and singer Luna (Kimberly Brookslisten)) the band provided original songs for the film. The Hex Girls proved to be extremely popular with fans and have made numerous comebacks. scooby doo episodes of films and series.

A top fan favorite is the home movie that revived the Scooby-Doo franchise. Scooby Doo Zombie Island. Over time, the hype around the various television series and spin-offs began to wane, so in order for Scooby-Doo to remain a popular franchise, films such as zombie island were created. Luckily, Zombie Island’its huge success would pave the way for a huge library scooby doo films that we have today. It was also the first time animation was featured in Mook Animation in Japan, when the classic look was changed with more dynamic movement that lifted up a strong story.
zombie island known for introducing real supernatural threats into his story, not just masked criminals. It also reflects the state of the franchise at a time when the disparate gang is reunited to explore a spooky island in New Orleans. There, at the pepper plantation, they meet the pirate ghost Morgan Moonscar and, much to their surprise, real zombies! As the team’s investigation approaches the harvest moon, the real villains show their faces.
