I have worked in the news industry for over 10 years. I have been an author at Daily News Hack for the past 1 year. I mostly cover sports news, but I also have a keen interest in current affairs and politics. In my spare time, I enjoy playing tennis and spending time with my family.

Bronze medalist of the 2012 Olympics in London Olga Saladukha, who ended her sports career after the failure in Tokyo 2020, spoke on the Kyiv TV channel about a trip to the front, where she visited the defenders of Ukraine.

In general, this is courage, we thanked them, we saw what kind of work it is, Olga Saladukha shared her impressions. - When you’re there, you see how scary it really is. We were under fire. We saw how the wounded guys were brought to the hospital. I couldn’t just look, my eyes were all in tears, because they brought me without limbs, with a broken head or something else. Very hard.

But when you communicate with them, you see positive, faith, hope. They inspire you that we are cool, strong, unshakable, we will win. Proud of our defenders. They are the people who showed the whole world that we are the best. And our country will stand to the last and defend its borders“.

Olga Saladukha is a people’s deputy from the Servant of the People party, a member of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Youth and Sports, and since 2022 she has been the chairman of the Charitable Initiatives of Olga Saladukha public organization.

Earlier reported that the legend of Ukrainian tennis Oleksandr Dolgopolov went to the front line to fight against rashists.
