Rakov Częstochowa only drew against Jagiellonia Bialystok, although initially there was no indication that Medals could lose points. However, the team of Maciej Stolarczyk managed to return from a long journey.
Rakov Czestochowa had everything to easily win the match against Jagiellonia Bialystok. However, Marek Papshun’s team paid a very high price for their inefficiency.
Rakov Czestochowa quickly took the lead against Jagiellonia Bialystok.
For the hosts, the match started better than they probably expected. Nowak dealt his first blow to the citizens of Częstochowa, breaking out from under the cover of Tyr. The action in the center of the field was started by Czyz, who gave the ball to Piasecki, who passed a perpendicular pass to former player Gornik Zabrze, who beat Alomerowicz.
Less than 10 minutes later, Rakov was leading 2-0 thanks to Nastitsia’s own goal. It all started again with Czyz, who gave the ball to Piasecki on the edge of the penalty area. Although he was immediately seized by the defenders of the Podlaskie Duma, the attacker still managed to turn around, leave alone and shoot. The Pole just hit the post, but then Nastich came to the aid of the inhabitants of Częstochowa. Instead of hitting the ball, the Serb scored it into his own net.
Periodic attacks of Jagiellonia Bialystok.
On the other hand, Jagiellonia was rather helpless. Yes, the wards of Maciej Stolarczyk tried to attack, they should be passed, but there were not enough details. Moreover, in the further part of the first half, they could have lost even more if Arsenich and Vdovyak had shown more efficiency.
It seemed that Jagiellonia could quickly return to the game at the beginning of the second half, when the ball was delivered to the feet of Rakov Imaz, who was standing alone in front of the penalty area. The Spaniard turned around, slapped him in the face and enjoyed the goal, but only for a moment. The replays showed that he was offside, so the referee rightly canceled the hit.
Jagiellonia Bialystok played a draw with Rakov Czestochowa.
Then, for a quarter of an hour, everything returned to normal - the inhabitants of Częstochowa again dominated and from time to time staged yet another dangerous action. Some of them should even end in goals, like in the 60th minute when Wdowiak shot from the right but missed the ball cleanly. Unused opportunities quickly took revenge on the hosts when Nene thundered from afar soon after. Even though the ball was heading straight for Trelowski, he still didn’t defend the shot.
The troubles of Częstochowa did not end there, because a few minutes before the last whistle Imaz brought to a draw. Raków surprised simply – after a corner kick, one of the players from Białystok extended the cross, and Imaz was waiting at the far post, who only added his header and scored 2:2.
