Morawiecki vs. Sasin. There should have been a sharp quarrel at the PiS leadership meeting!
Onet journalists talked to a politician from Morawiecki’s circles and a politician from Sasin’s circles. The former said that his entourage was fed up with the situation in which Morawiecki is constantly under attack. The reasons for this are high energy prices and problems with coal. - Responsibility for this direction of the government’s activity lies with Sasin, who does not recognize Morawiecki’s supervision, - says a politician associated with the prime minister.
In turn, Sasin’s man claims that so far there has not been so much irritation towards the prime minister in PiS. “People have problems with buying coal, and he travels around Poland and cuts ribbons,” says Onet, a politician associated with Sasin.
Sasin was supposed to attack Morawiecki at today’s meeting, but he was not going to leave it unanswered and had to accuse the Deputy Prime Minister of doing little to reduce raw material prices.
In turn, the gazeta.pl portal, citing its source, characterizes what is happening between Morawiecki and Sasin as a “total war”.

The PiS leadership gathered at the party’s headquarters. What did they discuss?
The most important PiS politicians met on Novogrudskaya Street. Among others were the head of the parliamentary club, Ryszard Terlecki, Marek Kuchczynski, Joachim Brudzinski, and Anthony Macierewicz.
The meeting of the party was supposed to be devoted primarily to current political issues and discussion of preparations for the next meeting of the Seimas, which will be held from 28 to 29 September.
Last week, PiS deputies submitted to the Seimas a bill that provides for the extension of the term of office of local governments until April 30, 2024. This is done in order to prevent the holding of both parliamentary and local elections in the fall of 2023.
Another topic that was probably discussed on September 22 on Novogrudskaya Street was the so-called election protection corps. Yaroslav Kaczynski announces its creation. What is it about? The PiS president claims that the opposition wants to falsify the election results.
- Remember that elections in Poland are organized by local governments, and who has more of them? Unfortunately, on the other hand, especially in large cities, Kaczynski recently said.
In turn, the opposition believes that PiS wants to influence the outcome of the elections by changing the electoral law in their favor.
