To do this, it is necessary to dig a trench 70 cm deep and 30 cm wide. A deep ditch is needed in order to lay a layer of wood 20 centimeters thick on its bottom. For example, I use hemp for this, which perfectly retains moisture in the ground. This plant is interesting in that it should not be flooded with water and at the same time it should not suffer from drought. On top of the stumps, a layer of loose soil 30-40 cm thick must be laid in a trench.
After that, we plant raspberry bushes. The gardener advises to mulch the remaining space with straw or hay so that it is convenient to water. As for the soil, it should be light. The ideal option is black soil mixed with sand from the top layer of soil, which was taken out of the trench.
You can also add humus to the mixture, then the yield increases by at least 15-20%.
