Frost made a statement Svalta and called Headey his wife, saying:

“Take a tender English family and send them on holiday to a tiny Swedish island full of maniacs. Simple. Not so much nuts in May. More nuts in Mayhem. After working with Lena in Fight with my family I couldn’t imagine anyone else in the world that I wanted to play Susan. So I was absolutely thrilled when I heard that not only did she read the script, but she actually liked it so much that I was honored to say yes and be my on-screen wife again.”

Frost’s previous credits include the 2011 comedy Alien. Paul and comedy series Prime Video Seekers of Truth. The film will be produced by a duo of Dutch filmmakers. Steffen Haars as well as Flip van der Kuil. While the two names probably mean little to American audiences, the film made by the couple was a big hit at the Dutch box office. In addition, they started their career in the Dutch comedy group New Kids, so they will probably feel right at home with the script written by Frost. Frost will also produce the film with Wayward Entertainment, Resolute Films, Film Service Finland and XYZ Films.

Svalta shooting is scheduled to begin in Finland next year, stay tuned to Collider for any future project updates.
