“International Legion. Will Without Borders is a documentary about foreigners fighting for Ukraine against Russia since the beginning of the full-scale invasion. The tape was created by the online.ua team with the assistance of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.
Already in March 2022, the International Legion began to carry out combat missions. The benches of the Legion continue to be replenished with volunteers from more than 50 countries of the world, and Ukraine gratefully accepts help from foreign defenders.
“International Legion. Will without Borders” tells the stories of brave volunteers who joined the Armed Forces of Ukraine to defend the independence of our state.
Harry is from Scotland, he has been aware of Russia’s war against Ukraine since 2014 and joined the Legion in early March 2022. He speaks very clearly about the Russians:
- Since I came here, I realized that it makes no difference to them who they eat. It doesn’t matter to them that there are civilians in the cities, they just open fire. For them [росіян] human deaths are irrelevant. We are doing our best to save people and help them.
Legion Fighter Eric believes that the main problem of Russians is their ego. After all, they will not be able to come to terms with their defeat in Ukraine:
“Apparently they are not at war with NATO troops. Their egos could accept defeat from NATO but cannot accept defeat from Ukraine.

- War will not always take place somewhere far away, on the other side of the world. It can happen to your country, to your city, to your people. And when that happens, you may not be able to take care of yourself. Therefore, you are more likely to ask others for help and expect to be helped. So, if you can, help others.
Max left his studies in his native Brazilto join the fight for the freedom of Ukraine and the entire free world:
“Given what I’ve seen here, it’s war crimes and genocide. Because they bomb civilian targets where there are no military ones. There is no doubt that Vladimir Putin should be held accountable for this.
Earlier Michal served in the Polish Armed Forces. The fighter plans to return after the victory of Ukraine:
“The more weapons provided to Ukraine, the sooner the war will end. Look at the problems people are experiencing in Ukraine, how much the industry has suffered compared to European countries. Support for Ukraine is just paying 10% more milk or bread. It’s nothing.
The fighters of the Legion are convinced that the world should continue to support Ukraine, because this is a matter of democracy and freedom for the whole world, and not just for one country.
Earlier British military with the call sign “Ghost”who came to Ukraine to defend it from Russian invaders, said that for him “the last straw was the fact that the Russians are killing children.”
