During the fighting in the Bakhmut direction, where a miraculous rescue of a wounded Ukrainian soldier took place the other day, soldiers of the 225th battalion of the 127th brigade took a prisoner dressed in a uniform very reminiscent of the green pixel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. A video with the interrogation of the occupier has got into the network. The prisoner called himself Ilya Igor Vladimirovich, serving in the Wagner PPK unit and admitted that he had been given such a uniform on purpose, “to look like a Ukrainian soldier“.

This is not the first time since the beginning of the year that servicemen of the Russian army change into uniforms that are very similar to the uniforms of our soldiers, or even the one that is removed from the dead Ukrainian soldiers.
On January 13, 2023, the dressing of the occupiers in the uniform of the Armed Forces of Ukraine was recorded for the first time. Assault detachments of Russian troops have already used the trick of dressing up in the battles near Kremennaya.

In early February of this year, soldiers of the 80th separate airborne assault brigade in the vicinity of Bakhmut captured Russian prisoners who were dressed in the uniform of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
And finally, on March 5, servicemen of the 77th separate airmobile brigade of the Airborne Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed the occupiers’ unit, most of whose members were wearing elements of the uniform of the Ukrainian military.
In addition, the “Wagnerites” themselves often post photos from Bakhmut, which show that they are dressed in the uniform of our American allies in order to impersonate NATO soldiers.
The Center for Information Resistance “Infosprotiv” believes that the Russians are deliberately wearing the uniform of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in order to mislead the Ukrainian military. It is also possible that the invaders are preparing for provocations “under a false flag” against the civilian population in order to discredit the fighters of the Ukrainian armed forces.
