Minister of Energy German Galushchenko does not rule out that Russian terrorists may again fire at the country’s energy infrastructure on New Year’s holidays - that is, on December 31 and January 1. So, under such conditions, there may be problems with lighting the houses of Ukrainians. He said this during the telethon.
The minister believes that the Russians have not removed the daily task of destroying the Ukrainian energy infrastructure from the queue.
“The Russians have not abandoned the shelling of the energy system. They are tied to certain dates. And perhaps the New Year is one of those dates when they will try to harm our energy system as much as possible, ” Galushchenko stated.
If large-scale shelling does not occur on New Year’s days, the power engineers intend to ensure uninterrupted power supply.
Recall that in a daily address to Ukrainians on December 26, President Zelensky thanked all employees of energy enterprises for the fact that they managed to give people more electricity on Christmas Eve and Christmas, despite the still existing shortages.
