The EU plans to introduce a new package of sanctions against the Russian Federation against the backdrop of statements by the head of the Kremlin about mobilization and “referenda”. In particular, the expansion of economic restrictions in terms of “technological relations” is expected.

This was stated by the head of European diplomacy Josep Borrell at a briefing.

According to him, now the European Union sees that Russian President Vladimir Putin has been “driven into a corner” after the successful counter-offensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. But instead of sitting down at the negotiating table, the leader of the aggressor country continues to strike at Ukraine.

Therefore, the European Council will study a new package of sanctions against a new set of individuals. I can’t name them right now. The Council will also study the expansion of economic sanctions, aimed more at the technological part of our relations with Russia for the time being,” Borrell said.

As you know, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced a partial mobilization on the territory of Russia for its “protection and integrity.”

According to media reports, during the mobilization in the Russian Federation, the army can lead to a million people liable for military service. This is stated in the classified paragraph of the corresponding decree of the head of the Kremlin, Vladimir Putin.

Meanwhile, the Federal Republic of Germany is ready to provide asylum to Russian citizens who evade mobilization, but at the same time they must oppose the regime of Russian President Vladimir Putin.

At the same time, as Pryamoi reported, Estonia will not hide Russian citizens who want to avoid mobilization and run away from their country.

By the way, the host of the Russian Youtube channel Popular Politics, Dmitry Nizovtsev, called the son of the press secretary of the President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Peskov, Nikolai, on the air and, under the guise of a military commissar, invited him to come for an examination the next day at 10 am, but he refused.
