Prime Video released a couple of new character posters to celebrate the upcoming release of the second season good omens. In the new pictures of Nina (Nina Sosanya) and Maggie (Maggie Service), which were part of Crowley (David Tennant) and Aziraphale (Michael Sheen) journey in different roles. Both performers played characters who were part of a cult responsible for the rise of the Antichrist. Since that mission failed, Susanya and Service will return to the successful series in different roles, which should be very different from their previous roles.
It remains to be seen why these new characters share names with the performers who are supposed to bring them to life, but they already seem friendlier than their counterparts. After all, they are not actively working to make the end of humanity a reality, and they appear to be civilians whose paths will cross with the strange duo leading good omens. A new mystery is about to open in front of Aziraphale’s door, and he’ll need all the help he can to unravel it before another catastrophe occurs. He and Crowley are no longer part of any organization and they will move forward on their own path.
After dangerous incidents from the previous season, Gabrielle (Jon Hamm) suddenly appears at Aziraphale’s door, completely naked and with no memory of who he is in his mind. One of the most powerful members of Heaven suddenly has nowhere else to go, and Crowley and Aziraphale must figure out why. Even if they don’t work for anyone else, the cataclysmic duo know that if such a powerful individual is in danger, it can’t mean anything good for the Earth and its inhabitants. The clock is ticking, and the fate of the planet is once again in the hands of a demon and an angel.
The incredible duo is back!
The unlikely friendship between Crowley and Aziraphale began when they learned that the Antichrist was about to be born. If the kid manages to grow up and acquire all his set of abilities, no one can stop him, and humanity will be doomed. Both characters had to abandon the notions they had before meeting each other, realizing that none of their superiors knew what was best for the future of humanity. Luckily, they ended up trying to influence the wrong boy, and a real person with the power of the Antichrist turned out to be a good person, preventing the destruction of the planet.
